Academik America has acquired Data Science Skool (DSK) and The AISkool, two digital learning platforms specializing in data science, analytics, engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Managed by Mindtree since 2017, both platforms have played a pivotal role in advancing domain-specific learning for global professionals and students, delivering real-world skills through academically grounded, application-focused content.
The acquisition enhances Academik America’s ability to serve the growing global demand for high-impact, credential-aligned learning experiences. With the addition of DSK and AISkool, Academik America strengthens its digital learning ecosystem offering learners worldwide access to specialized, future-ready programs that complement formal education and bridge directly into industry needs.
Combined, the platforms have already supported over 50,000 learners in more than 40 countries, and will now be integrated with the certification journeys of candidates registered with the Data Science Council of America (DASCA) and the Artificial Intelligence Board of America (ARTiBA). These learners will gain access to a curated library of structured learning, lab modules, and assessment-based learning aligned to the highest standards in professional certification.
Looking ahead, under the World Data Science & AI Initiative (WDSAI), DSK and AISkool are projected to support more than 250,000 students of accredited institutions globally over the next three years, furthering Academik America’s commitment to shaping the future of talent in emerging technologies.
This move positions Academik America as a global force in delivering accessible, rigorous, and credential-driven digital learning empowering the next generation of data and AI professionals to thrive in the evolving digital economy.
